Corrections

We try to get our guides right the first time, but mistakes happen. This page explains how to report one and how we handle it once we do.

How to report an issue

If you spot a factual error, a broken link, an outdated reference, or anything else that looks wrong, please let us know through our contact page. Include the page URL and a short description of what looks incorrect — that is usually enough for us to review it quickly.

How we handle corrections

We distinguish between two kinds of changes. Minor edits — fixing a typo, clarifying a sentence, updating a dead link — are made without a separate notice, since they do not change the substance of the guide. Material corrections — where a factual claim, a recommendation, or a key detail was wrong and the fix changes what a reader should take away from the guide — are logged below, along with the date of the correction and a short description.

Correction log

DatePageDescription
No material corrections have been logged since launch. This table will be updated if and when one is needed.

Revision dates

Separately from material corrections, every guide displays both a publish date and a last-revised date near the top of the article. A changed revision date can reflect routine review and small clarity improvements, not necessarily a correction — the log above is reserved for changes substantial enough that a previous reader's takeaway could have been affected.
